Unlock apt/apt-get update command in Terminal

If you run the following command:

sudo apt-get update

and returns something like that:

mati@mati-pc: sudo apt-get update
[sudo] password for mati:
Reading package lists... Done
E: Could not get lock /var/lib/apt/lists/lock - open (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock directory /var/lib/apt/lists/

- Step 1: Run the command:

ps -e | grep -e apt -e adept | grep -v grep

its will return: 12345 ? 00:00:09 aptd

- Step 2: Run the command with process_number is result of prev. command (12345)

sudo kill -9 process_number

Goodluck! ;)
